Ever since I can remember, the things that have brought me the most joy in my life and career have come in two forms: one showed up as a feeling, an untameable passion. The other, as a question. The dedication to understand who I am; aka authenticity. And the drive to learn how to make things happen with my own two hands; summed up best in the word achievement . Somewhere in my late teens this feeling became very clear that I was in the business of inspiring connections. A driving insight that successfully brought me through my early forties.

Oh what a wild ride that has been. I met some supremely inspired people. Traveled around the world to found, finance and operate credible Internet ventures. It felt right. Paid well. Both facts made me happy…until they didn’t. And then my understanding of ‘who I was’ had a simple question: ‘Marco, you sure have experienced a lot: but who is the entrepreneur of your own life?” The need to answer this question created a self-awareness and started me on a journey that forever changed. So I became a certified professional coach for executives and start-up entrepreneurs which provided a large cache of insights, and yet -- when I am being true to myself -- that same question arose.

That is why my latest venture Zentrapreneur has been launched: to inspire the self-awareness in leaders that aligns their inner with their outer creation. It is my way and space for helping those personalize a leadership experience that bridges the all-too-common divide between external and internal silos of our lives, our work and our selves.

What I’ve learned is that leading start-ups as a co-founder, CEO and investor, success measurements are driven by external factors and somewhat predictable through previous conditioning. Somewhere between Ivy League Business schools, Wall Street and Silicon Valley, emphasis has been placed on fleeting metrics that change quarter over quarter leaving many great organizations and people bankrupt. Not necessarily financial ruin , but more importantly the untold emotional and spiritual costs as well.

Zentrapreneurship is the path beyond the compromise that personal experience must be consistently dictated by external measurement. It is a continual acknowledgement that reveals the steps and energy -- readily available within each one of us -- for delivering the insight and manifestation of continual fulfillment.

Calling all entrepreneurs of life.
