From the age of eight, I had such a love for Irish mythology and storytelling.
My late grandfather, William, was also quite the storyteller, and as a child, he would tell me many stories about Irish myths and legend's, I was completely fascinated with this mythical world.
As I got older, my love for Irish mythology grew, I wanted to shed new light on these magical and captivating mythical beings and the story that I created when I was eight.
My journey to becoming an author was not an easy road, I was told that I was not educated enough to write a book due to leaving school early, and whenever I spoke of writing my book, I was laughed at and told throughout my life that I would never write a book.
I spent many years doubting myself, lost my confidence to write but the faces of my characters and the world's that I created never left my mind my confidence may have been shattered but my passion for writing was still there.
After twenty-one years I wrote my book, the book that people said I could never write.
