I was born and grew up in New Zealand. After graduating from Canterbury University I was sent to London expecting to spend three years on work assignment. Three years became five; five became ten and now, over 25 years later, I‘m still living in the greatest city in the world.

I arrived in London, having never been outside of New Zealand before, and fell in love instantly with the people, the place and the country‘s long and fascinating history. I built up a long and successful career in the Financial Services Industry in London. My children were born in London, and as a family we have spent (still do) many weekends searching out new things to do and exciting places to experience in London and around Great Britain. I got to tell you, nothing beats the beauty of the rolling English countryside.

In 2006 I did return to New Zealand with her family. I could not settle. I missed London, its street, the people, the houses, I missed even the fog. And so in 2012 I came back. I now live around the corner from where I used to live and keep bumping into my old neighbours and people who live and work in the area. I am blessed to be part of London. That is why I decided to write a series of books about London. To help families, and anyone visiting London be part of it, be amazed by it, be a Londoner.
